Jean Canavan’s “Shadow of the Flame”

While the story is slightly predictable I was still anxious to see how the author was going to play it out.

Some of the story line gets a little confusing for me though.  In some parts of him or her not caring for the other I found myself not entirely sure why.

Next book is:  Christine Elliott’s “The Captain’s Conquest”
