Well it's almost the end of January so what has happened: My husband has submitted his final thesis and is waiting to hear on his master's degree. This will be the end of his formal education and he is so looking forward to not being in school anymore. It has been a long run, I'm … Continue reading 2021 Begins
On December 21, 2020 (Yule/Winter Solstice) I began working on a project to further my spirituality and hone in on some habits, traits and wants for 2021. Below is the first two weeks' schedule. I'm using this blog to do updates and accountability. I'm not going to be specific because it's highly personal. Week 1 … Continue reading Spiritual Pathwork
Last night I had another dream of Dad, this has happened a few times since July. I dream alternative deaths. This time he and Mom were visiting us somewhere and on a tour up a canyon. In the bus to get there he wasn't feeling well, then when we arrived and started walking up the … Continue reading Dreaming Of Dad
This year is just odd isn't it. After returning to America from living overseas for seven years, it took some months to find a job I was passionate about, be hired for and trained at but with the way Covid-19 has been spreading recently it was getting too close for comfort for me so I … Continue reading Changes Again

I think it has likely been almost 10 years since my last donut...maybe had one in Japan to try their take on donuts. So, with the case … Continue reading A Cheat Day
I think I'll do small posts now and then of a thing that made me smile, happy reminders, grateful moments. Kicking it off with this: When clearing out a shelf in the small pantry I came across a little piece of happiness that I thought I had seen the last of from Italy. There's one … Continue reading This Made Me Smile
I miss lipstick. Covid rules means I have worn a mask outside the house since March and also means I haven't worn lipstick, lip liner, lip stain at all and I kinda miss it. Makeup in general has been going on sparingly the last several months and I really enjoy makeup. I have always loved … Continue reading Covid Commentary 3
It's official, I've reached old lady status. I am sick of putting thought, effort and money into a gift for someone in the younger generations and not even get acknowledgement that they received it let alone a thank you. I don't care if you like what I sent or not, just let me know you … Continue reading Officially a Cranky Crone
