I’m tracking my reading on Goodreads as well as this blog and I will look at other people’s reviews after I give mine. (sometimes before I start the book). My questions and thoughts on this are the following:
1. Why do some people feel the need to write a summary of the story as the book review?
Reviewing the book is giving your thoughts on it not summarizing the story for us. If we want that we can read the back cover.
2. Why do some people give a review that seems to show they enjoyed the book to some extent but they only give it 1 or 2 stars? Seems contradictory and I wonder how confused they are in person as well.
These are both fails for me.
