Johanna Lindsey’s “Once A Princess”
Sappy Cinderella type story that was just what I needed. The background given to the “Princess” and disbelief of what was happening was just right for me to buy in to the fact that she would fight tooth and nail as long as she did.
She should have had more of an immediate response to the meeting of the mistress in the doorway though. Really? I don’t believe she’d just stand there.
Enjoyable read though.
