Stopped at the 100 Yen store this time for some sweets.
It’s right next to our favorite Sushi-Go-Round
where we grabbed a couple of to go boxes for dinner.
I snuck over to the 100 yen shop for the following:
These little gummy bites are delicious! I am in love with this candy.
It is Kiwi and it’s just a little sweet.
I have no idea what this is but it’s not bad. Kinda mild sugar taste.
Soft so it’s chewy but it’s not chewy like gummy, if you get my meaning.
Anyone know what this is??
I have only had the pineapple one so far but it was nice… for hard candy, which I prefer soft. Still it will curb the sweet tooth
Will have to try the other flavors. =)
Another hard candy, tastes like green grapes to me, I’m guessing that’s what’s on the packaging.
Can anyone confirm?
That’s it for this round. Next time will be more salty snacky types.
I’m not sure about the texture of the second one, but the flavor is ramune, which the Japanese say is lemonade, but to me it tastes like carbonated Bazooka bubblegum. The bottles are way cool, though: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.e-kanekoya.com/photo-drink/k-ramune300.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.e-kanekoya.com/s_juice_k_ramune.htm&h=300&w=300&sz=10&tbnid=kCqqhTd3sNm8AM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=90&zoom=1&usg=__33MNSmXe4bjaz0KYTWIXF5EfMRg=&docid=3PUyq4hOm1X8RM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=TS-YUaq6NeWjiAfjxYHQBQ&ved=0CFsQ9QEwBA&dur=10195
Confirmed that the last one is Muscat grape.
Thanks Eda! Let me know when I can bring you cheese. =P
That would be great! Perhaps the next time you’re heading into the city we could arrange to meet up.
Sounds like the makings of a plan. I think we are just heading to Yokohama this weekend but perhaps the weekend after. I’ll let you know next time I come up.
